Vikram Solar Named “Top Performer 2025” In Kiwa PVEL PQP For 8th Time, Proving Long-Term Reliability

Vikram Solar Limited, one of India’s prominent solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturers, has been named a Top Performer in Kiwa PVEL’s 2025 Module Reliability Scorecard. This recognition marks the company’s eighth appearance overall and the seventh in a row on this prestigious global benchmark. In addition to this achievement, Vikram Solar’s N-TYPE G12R module has successfully qualified under Kiwa PVEL’s 2025 Product Qualification Program (PQP), reaffirming the company’s commitment to delivering high-performance and reliable solar technology.

Kiwa PVEL (PV Evolution Labs) is a globally respected organization known for conducting extensive reliability and performance testing for PV modules. Its PQP serves as a critical resource for global solar buyers, offering third-party data that supports informed decision-making and drives long-term solar adoption. Vikram Solar’s consistent recognition in the scorecard highlights its dedication to innovation and quality in the solar sector.

This year, two of Vikram Solar’s module series earned Top Performer status: the Hypersol M10 Series and the Hypersol G12R Series. The M10 Series includes half-cut modules with 108, 120, and 144 cells, while the G12R Series features half-cut variants with 96, 108, 120, and 132 cells. Both series underwent stringent testing under the PQP framework. The M10 Series was evaluated for thermal cycling, potential induced degradation (PID), light- and elevated-temperature-induced degradation (LETID), and hail stress. The G12R Series was tested for light-induced degradation (LID), PAN performance, and PID, among others.
