Voltalia has been awarded two new engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts by ESB, Ireland’s semi-state-owned utility. The contracts, totaling 92.9 megawatts, cover the development of the 43.7 MW Carriglong and 49.2 MW Clashwilliam solar power plants.

These projects mark the fourth collaboration between Voltalia and ESB since 2023, reinforcing a growing partnership in Ireland’s renewable energy sector. Previous successful projects include the 108 MW Timahoe North solar park, developed for the ESB–Bord na Móna joint venture, and the 75 MW Middleton House project.

With these new contracts, Voltalia continues to strengthen its presence in Ireland. Since the summer of 2024, the company has been awarded the construction of over 600 MW of capacity in the country, in addition to 365 MW already commissioned since 2022.
