ERCโ€™s Market Operations Service Director Sharon O. Montaรฑer outlined the requirements and approval process for the Net-Metering Program and highlighted partnerships with LGUs aimed at making solar adoption more accessible nationwide. She also presented Net-Metering Certificates of Compliance (COCs) to the Department of Education (DepEd) Extension Office and the DepEd Schools Division of Laoag City.

The engagement forms part of the ERCโ€™s Continuing Regulatory Education for Stakeholders (CREST) initiative, which promotes awareness and capacity-building on renewable energy policies. The program supports President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.โ€™s directive to accelerate clean energy deployment, enhance electrification, and ensure affordable and reliable electricity for all Filipinos.
