Sungrow has launched its next-generation microinverter, the S2500S-L, in the Brazilian market at Intersolar South America 2025, held from August 26–28 in São Paulo. Designed for reliability, efficiency, and ease of use,the S2500S-L aims to accelerate Brazil’s clean energy transition.
Optimized for Brazil’s Fast-Track Approval
The S2500S-L delivers 2.5 kW per unit, and three units combined reach 7.5 kW, fitting within Brazil’s fast-track procedure (Normative Resolution No. 1,000/2021) for simplified technical approval. Its innovative topology achieves a power density of 455 W/kg, providing lightweight, high-efficiency performance. The microinverter supports four independent MPPT inputs with DC currents up to 18 A, ensuring broad compatibility with solar modules.
Engineered for Extreme Heat
Brazil’s North, Northeast, and Central-West regions often experience high temperatures. Microinverters installed in tight rooftop spaces can derate or shut down under heat stress. The S2500S-L operates reliably at 45°C without derating and maintains output up to 80°C. Its design improves heat dissipation efficiency by 10–15%, ensuring consistent performance in extreme conditions.
Simplified Installation and Monitoring
Installers benefit from one-click configuration, which automatically syncs settings across all devices on the network, reducing setup time by over 66%. Through Sungrow’s iSolarCloud platform, users can monitor real-time power generation, track device health, perform remote diagnostics, and resolve faults efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.
Reliable Communication and Data Management
The S2500S-L offers enhanced signal quality, 5–10 dB above industry averages, and 10% higher transmission power for long-range communication. With high receiver sensitivity (-93 dBm), weak signals are detected even through obstacles. Short-term disconnections auto-reconnect within seconds, and 24-hour data retransmission ensures performance records remain complete and accurate.
Comprehensive Durability and Safety
Sungrow emphasizes reliability across all stages, from component selection to testing. Components undergo rigorous verification exceeding 500,000 hours, including core tests of over 10,000 hours. The S2500S-L withstands temperatures from -40°C to 125°C, rapid thermal cycling, high humidity, and salt spray, with IP67 protection and C5 corrosion resistance. It also achieves Class B electromagnetic compatibility, the world-leading home-appliance standard.
The S2500S-L delivers maximum array utilization, high-temperature resilience, simplified commissioning, strong communication, and industry-leading reliability. Brazilian households can now generate clean power more efficiently, reliably, and easily, advancing a smarter, high-quality zero-carbon lifestyle.
