ASOT Solar (ASOTE Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), one of India’s rapidly growing solar module manufacturers, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sunergy, China, to establish a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing solar module manufacturing capacity and technology in India.
Under this partnership, both companies will work together on the integration of advanced cell and module technologies, process optimization, and expansion of high-efficiency solar module production up to 800 MW annually.
The collaboration is focused on technology transfer, material innovation, and manufacturing excellence to deliver world-class solar modules compliant with India’s ALMM standards. The initiative supports India’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat by strengthening local value addition and accelerating clean-energy deployment.
“This collaboration marks a significant step towards building globally competitive solar manufacturing capabilities in India,” said Mr. Kaushik Chitaliya, Founder & Managing Director of ASOT Solar. “By combining Sunergy’s technological expertise with ASOT’s manufacturing excellence and ALMM certification, we aim to deliver next-generation solar modules to Indian and global markets.”
The partnership is expected to boost production efficiency, reduce project costs, and create new employment opportunities in India’s renewable-energy sector.
