ACEN Corporation has approved an additional PHP 60-million funding facility for its wholly owned subsidiary, YMP Telecom Power Inc. (YMP), to support ongoing operations and expansion of renewable-powered solutions for the Philippinesโ€™ growing telecom sector.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, ACEN stated that its Executive Committee approved the working capital facility on 21 November 2025, with the agreement signed on the same day. The funding will enable YMP to manage its expansion pipeline as demand for clean, stable tower power continues to rise across the country.

YMP develops micro-solar systems that directly energize telecom towers. Currently, the company operates 198 sites with a combined solar-and-battery capacity of 15.5 MW, generating approximately 9.5 GWh annually. All electricity produced by YMPโ€™s systems is supplied directly to telecom towers, reducing diesel consumption and supporting operatorsโ€™ shift toward cleaner and more reliable energy.

This move underlines ACENโ€™s continued commitment to sustainable energy solutions in the Philippines and its strategic focus on decarbonizing critical infrastructure sectors.
