INTEC Energy Solutions Secures $117 Million EPC Contract for Shafag (Jabrayil) Solar Project

INTEC Energy Solutions (INTEC), a global leader in solar EPC, project development, and battery energy storage systems (BESS), has announced that it has been awarded a major engineering, procurement, and construction contract by Shafag (Jabrayil) Solar Limited (SJSL). The contract, valued at $117 million, includes the complete EPC scope along with two years of operation and maintenance services.

INTEC confirmed that it has completed mobilisation activities at the project site and is progressing with earthworks and the construction of internal roads. Ramming operations are underway, and deliveries of module and structural components are currently in progress.

Rashid Abbasov, Managing Director (AZ) at INTEC Energy Solutions, said the project marks a significant milestone for the company in the region. He noted that the initiative strengthens INTEC’s cooperation with its partners and leverages the company’s global experience to deliver high-quality EPC and O&M services. Abbasov added that the contract is expected to pave the way for future collaborations in the region.
