Clean Energy Partnership: SECI Signs Statement of Intent with GEAPP Service Co to Support India’s Energy Transition

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has signed a Statement of Intent (SoI) with GEAPP ServiceCo (India) Private Limited to explore collaboration in areas supporting India’s clean energy transition.

The SoI was exchanged between Shri Akash Tripathi, Managing Director of SECI, and Mr. Saurabh Kumar, Vice President – India, GEAPP ServiceCo (India) Private Limited, in the presence of senior SECI officials. On behalf of SECI, the SoI was formally signed by Shri Prashant Soni, DGM (Project Monitoring), under the guidance of Shri Sivakumar V Vepakomma, Director (Power Systems).

The agreement outlines cooperation in multiple strategic areas, including renewable energy integration, grid strengthening, energy transition planning, utility digitisation, adoption of emerging clean energy technologies, capacity building, knowledge sharing, and development of analytical tools and frameworks for the power sector.

The collaboration is aligned with India’s national priorities on energy security, sustainability, and climate action, reflecting a shared commitment to accelerating the country’s shift toward a cleaner and more resilient energy system.
