NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced a fresh addition to its renewable energy portfolio with the commercial operation of a 125 MW solar capacity from its 500 MW Bhadla Solar PV Project. The update was shared through a formal disclosure filed with the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited, in line with regulatory requirements.

The newly operational capacity is part of the larger Bhadla Solar PV Project located in Phalodi, Rajasthan. The project is being implemented and managed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. According to the disclosure, the 125 MW capacity has received the necessary certification from the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited, confirming that it has met all technical and regulatory conditions required to begin commercial operations.
