KPI Green Energy Secures 300 MWac Order From Adani Group For Khavda Hybrid Project

KPI Green Energy Limited announced that it had secured fresh orders from subsidiaries of the Adani Group for a large renewable energy project at the Khavda Hybrid Renewable Power Project in Kutch, Gujarat. The new order is for a capacity of 300 MWac (405 MWdc), strengthening the companyโ€™s presence in large-scale renewable energy development.

The contracts have been awarded by Adani Green Energy Six Limited and Adani Green Energy Limited. Under the service and purchase orders, KPI Green Energy will carry out detailed electrical and civil works for the project. The scope of work includes the execution of electrical AC and DC systems along with major civil construction activities. These civil works cover pile foundation work, installation of stubs, and erection of module mounting structures required to support solar panels.

In addition to structural and electrical work, KPI Green Energy will also install structures for robotic cleaning systems and IDT stations. The company will supply important electrical equipment needed for the project, although the primary components are excluded from its scope of supply. The project will be executed in phases, following the timelines specified in each service and purchase order.

With this new contract, KPI Green Energyโ€™s total awarded capacity from Adani Group entities at the Khavda site has increased to 834 MWac (1,131 MWdc). This includes an earlier order of 534 MWac (726 MWdc) that was announced on January 16, 2026. The cumulative capacity highlights the strong and growing business relationship between KPI Green Energy and the Adani Group in the utility-scale renewable energy segment.

The company stated that these repeated orders reflect confidence in its project execution capabilities and technical expertise. It sees this as a significant step in strengthening its role as a trusted partner for large renewable energy projects in India.

In its regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements, the company confirmed that the contracts were awarded by domestic entities and do not involve any related party transactions. It also clarified that its promoters and group companies have no interest in the awarding entities. The latest order further supports KPI Green Energyโ€™s strategic focus on expanding its execution portfolio in Indiaโ€™s fast-growing renewable energy sector.
