AB Energia Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a Mumbai-based solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, has secured a 15 MWp solar project in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh. The order has been awarded by Avener Capital through its renewable energy arm, Avener Green Pvt. Ltd. This marks AB Energia’s first project in Uttar Pradesh, a state that is witnessing steady growth in utility-scale renewable energy installations.
Under the contract, AB Energia will undertake the complete execution of the solar power plant. The scope includes supply, installation, and commissioning of advanced bifacial TOPCon solar modules. These modules are designed to improve energy generation efficiency, especially under Indian weather conditions. The project is expected to be completed by mid-April 2026.
The development comes soon after the Union Budget 2026, which has been widely viewed as supportive of clean energy expansion and domestic infrastructure growth. AB Energia operates across India and in select Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The company delivers ground-mounted, rooftop, floating, and carport solar solutions for utility-scale and commercial clients. The Mahoba project will add to its growing portfolio of large-scale solar installations.
India aims to achieve 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. Projects like this are considered important steps in supporting the country’s renewable energy targets and accelerating on-ground capacity addition.
