Saatvik Green Energy Limited, one of India’s leading solar PV module manufacturers, has released its first Sustainability Report for FY 2024–25, outlining measurable progress in clean energy adoption, emissions reduction and responsible business practices.
Titled “Powering Progress: Growing Together for a Greener Future”, the report highlights that during the reporting year the company consumed 2,698 GJ of energy from renewable sources across its operations and avoided 544.75 tCO₂e of carbon emissions. The performance underscores its focus on low-carbon and energy-efficient manufacturing.
The report has been prepared with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards 2021 and is aligned with SEBI’s Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) framework, the National Guidelines on Responsible Business Conduct (NGRBC) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During the year, the company was also recognized as a Great Place to Work®, based on employee feedback.
Commenting on the release of the report, Mr. Prashant Mathur, CEO, Saatvik Green Energy Limited, said, “Our inaugural Sustainability Report reflects our commitment to building a cleaner, greener and more resilient future through responsible manufacturing and strong governance. As India moves towards 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030 and its net-zero target by 2070, we are focused on reducing our environmental footprint, strengthening safety and well-being across our workforce, and creating meaningful social impact in the communities where we operate.”
Looking ahead, the company plans to deepen ESG integration across its operations, strengthen value chain engagement, and progressively expand the scope of its sustainability disclosures to include value chain partners and product end-of-life impacts.
