Boviet Solar has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the long-term growth and resilience of community and shared solar projects across the U.S., positioning its high-efficiency PV technologies and expanding domestic manufacturing footprint as key enablers of equitable clean energy access.

Community and shared solar programs allow households, renters, small businesses, schools, and municipalities to subscribe to off-site solar installations, typically ranging from 1 MW to 20 MW, without installing rooftop systems. These models โ€” including Community Solar, Shared Solar, Community Distributed Generation (CDG), Low-to-Moderate Income (LMI) Solar, and Community Solar + Storage โ€” are increasingly seen as critical to broadening renewable energy participation, lowering electricity costs, and strengthening local grid resilience.

As the market expands, developers, EPCs, utilities, asset owners, and investors are placing greater emphasis on bankable technology partners capable of delivering predictable long-term performance and financial stability. Boviet Solar stated that its Gamma Seriesโ„ข monofacial and Vega Seriesโ„ข bifacial modules are purpose-built for such applications, combining high-efficiency monocrystalline cell technology with strong mechanical durability and optimized energy yield across diverse climates.

The companyโ€™s modules have undergone third-party validation by Black & Veatch, Kiwa PVEL, and TรœV SรœD, earning recognition for reliability and real-world performance. Each module is backed by a 12-year product workmanship warranty, extendable options, and a 30-year linear performance warranty.

Boviet Solar has maintained BloombergNEF Tier 1 PV module manufacturer status since 2017 and is consistently ranked among financially stable and bankable manufacturers by Wood Mackenzie and Sinovoltaics. The company noted that its modules are routinely financed by major project lenders and tax-equity investors, supporting competitive financing structures and long-term cash flow predictability for community solar portfolios.

To further strengthen supply reliability in the U.S. market, Boviet Solar highlighted its 3.0 GW PV module manufacturing facility in Greenville, North Carolina, operational in 2025, along with a planned Phase II PV cell manufacturing expansion targeted for 2026. The company said the U.S.-based operations are expected to enhance domestic supply chains, support IRA domestic content incentives, and contribute to job creation.

โ€œSustainable community and shared solar projects depend on trust โ€” trust in long-term performance, financial stability, and responsible manufacturing,โ€ said Songul Atacan, Head of Global Brand & Marketing at Boviet Solar, adding that the company aims to align its bankable technology and ESG principles with the mission of expanding clean energy access nationwide.

Boviet Solar also emphasized its sustainability commitments, operating under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, participating in the United Nations Global Compact, and adhering to solar supply chain traceability and UFLPA compliance requirements.

With gigawatts of modules deployed across the U.S., the company said it continues to partner with developers and energy providers to support community-focused solar projects delivering economic, environmental, and social benefits across the country.
