GREW Solar, one of India’s youngest and rapidly expanding solar PV module manufacturers, has secured a repeat order valued at approximately ₹500 crore from a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) for the supply of its high-efficiency M10R solar photovoltaic modules. The modules will be deployed across multiple upcoming utility-scale solar projects in India.

The order follows the successful execution and timely delivery of modules for the same developer in a previous project, reinforcing the continued partnership and trust between the two companies.

Under the agreement, GREW Solar will supply its advanced M10R modules specifically designed for large-scale solar installations. The modules are built using TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) cell technology, which enhances energy generation efficiency and ensures reliable performance for utility-scale solar power plants.

The M10R modules incorporate a 144 half-cut cell configuration, a design that helps minimize power losses and improves operational stability, particularly in high-temperature environments common in many parts of India. The modules are backed by a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty, ensuring long-term durability and sustained energy output for project developers.

Commenting on the development, Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director of GREW Solar, said the repeat order demonstrates the growing confidence that developers have in the company’s technology and manufacturing capabilities. He noted that with India witnessing rising electricity demand — reaching record levels as early as February this year — the need for dependable and efficient solar solutions is becoming increasingly important.

He added that GREW Solar’s high-efficiency modules are designed to support developers in accelerating project deployment while contributing to the country’s clean energy expansion and efforts to reduce reliance on fossil fuels.

As solar deployment continues to accelerate across India, GREW Solar is focusing on strengthening its position in the solar value chain by delivering high-performance modules, adopting advanced cell technologies, and maintaining reliable supply timelines. Through these initiatives, the company aims to support the renewable energy sector’s growing role in meeting India’s increasing power demand through cleaner and more sustainable energy sources.
