Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has signed a contract to execute engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for a 300 MW AC (420 MWp) ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project, according to a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges.
The company disclosed that it received the formal intimation of the contract on March 10, 2026, and the project has been awarded by a domestic renewable energy power generation company. The scope of work includes the complete EPC execution for the large-scale solar PV plant.
As per the disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI, the project will involve the development of a ground-mounted solar power facility with a total installed capacity of 300 MW AC, equivalent to approximately 420 MWp in DC capacity.
The project is expected to be completed during the financial year 2027–28, in line with the contractual timeline. The order has been classified as a domestic commercial contract, and the company clarified that it does not involve any related-party transactions. The filing also stated that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity.
Waaree Renewable Technologies, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, continues to expand its presence in India’s utility-scale solar EPC segment. The latest contract further strengthens the company’s order pipeline as demand for large solar projects grows across the country’s renewable energy sector.
