ACME Solar Holdings Limited has reported a strong financial and operational performance for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, driven by major capacity additions, battery storage expansion, and higher energy generation. The company nearly doubled its annual profit during the year as it continued to strengthen its position in India’s renewable energy sector.
For FY26, the company recorded a total revenue of INR 2,507 crore, reflecting a growth of 59.2 percent compared to the previous fiscal year. EBITDA also witnessed a significant rise of 61.2 percent to INR 2,265 crore. Profit After Tax (PAT) increased sharply by 98.5 percent to INR 498 crore, compared to INR 251 crore reported in FY25. The strong earnings growth was mainly supported by the commissioning of new renewable energy projects and improved operational efficiency.
In the fourth quarter of FY26, ACME Solar posted revenue of INR 705 crore, registering a year-on-year increase of 30.7 percent. Quarterly PAT stood at INR 138 crore, up 13.3 percent from the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to the company, the performance improvement was supported by additional operational capacities and better Capacity Utilization Factors (CUF) across projects.
The fiscal year also marked a major milestone in the company’s operational expansion. ACME Solar commissioned approximately 2.3 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity, one of the largest installations in India. The company stated that the storage system is currently generating a net realization of nearly INR 2.2 crore per day. During the year, the company also completed the commissioning of its 100 MW Acme Eco Clean wind project, taking the total operational renewable energy capacity to 2,990 MW.
Energy generation during FY26 rose substantially to 6,464 million units, recording a 61.1 percent increase compared to the previous year. The company maintained high plant and grid availability levels of 99.5 percent and 99.2 percent, respectively, which supported higher output and stable operations.
ACME Solar also expanded its future development pipeline during the quarter by securing a 301 MW project from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). With this addition, the company’s under-construction portfolio increased to 5,081 MW. Its total portfolio, including operational and under-construction assets, has now reached 8,071 MW, including nearly 17 GWh of battery energy storage capacity.
On the financing side, the company tied up debt exceeding INR 15,000 crore for ongoing projects and refinanced INR 3,300 crore for operational assets, reducing borrowing costs significantly.
