Solis Announces Tier 1 Recognition from S&P Global Energy and BloombergNEF

Solis has announced that it has been recognized as a Tier 1 global solar inverter manufacturer by both S&P Global Energy and BloombergNEF (BNEF) in their latest Tier 1 rankings, marking another milestone in the company’s continued growth across the global solar and energy storage market.

According to Solis, the latest recognition builds on the company’s first inclusion in the BloombergNEF Tier 1 ranking in 2023 and reflects its sustained performance in product competitiveness, technological innovation and global market presence. The company said recognition from the two energy research organizations further reinforces its position among leading solar inverter manufacturers worldwide.

Founded in 2005, Solis has spent more than two decades developing power electronics and solar energy technologies. The company stated that its continued investment in research and development and core technologies has enabled it to expand beyond solar inverters into energy storage and intelligent energy management.

Today, Solis provides solutions for residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and utility-scale applications, covering distributed solar generation, backup power, energy storage and large-scale renewable energy integration.

As energy systems become increasingly interconnected, solar generation, energy storage, backup generation and electrical loads are increasingly required to operate together to improve flexibility, reliability and resilience.

Solis said it is responding to this shift with solutions designed to integrate solar PV, energy storage, diesel generation and electrical loads within a coordinated energy system. According to the company, this development reflects its broader evolution from a solar inverter manufacturer into a provider of intelligent solar and energy storage solutions.

The latest recognition also comes as inverter technology assumes a broader role within renewable energy systems, driven by the growing integration of solar, battery storage and intelligent energy management. Solis views the dual Tier 1 recognition as an acknowledgment of its technology development and expanding presence across global solar and energy storage markets.
