The Andhra Pradesh Information Technology, Electronics, and Communications Department has invited bids for two solar power projects on behalf of the Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC). The tenders are aimed at boosting renewable energy infrastructure in the state through long-term solar power development projects under the Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) model.
The first project involves the survey, design, supply, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of a 3 MW Solar PV system. The project will be developed on agricultural lands owned by the Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation at Dharmavaram and Malakapalli. The selected developer will be responsible for operating and maintaining the plant for a period of 25 years.
According to the tender notification, bidders are required to pay a non-refundable tender fee of โน1,000 along with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of โน5 lakh.
