According to the company, the additional BESS capacity was commissioned on June 1, 2026. The commercial operation date (COD) for this newly added block is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2026. This development marks another important step in ACME Solar’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its energy storage portfolio and support the growing demand for renewable energy infrastructure in India.

The latest commissioning follows an earlier company update issued on May 11, 2026, regarding the progress of the project. With the successful integration of the new capacity, the total commissioned capacity of ACME Sun Power Private Limited has increased to 266.669 MW / 1283.936 MWh. This expansion significantly enhances the company’s ability to store and supply renewable energy, helping improve grid reliability and support clean energy adoption.

The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing submitted to both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE). The filing was made by Rajesh Sodhi, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of ACME Solar Holdings Limited.
