The project is being implemented under the Government of India’s Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), with East India Udyog Limited (EIUL) serving as the lead contractor. The modernization initiative covers the key urban centers of Dehradun, Haridwar, and Rishikesh and aims to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and resilience of the region’s power distribution infrastructure.

Under the scope of work, Sharika Enterprises will deploy an integrated SCADA-ADMS platform that combines Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distribution Management System (DMS), and Outage Management System (OMS) functionalities. The project marks the company’s entry into India’s growing SCADA-ADMS market, which is playing a critical role in the digital transformation of the power distribution sector.

The integrated platform is designed to provide utilities with real-time visibility into network operations, advanced monitoring and control capabilities, faster fault detection and restoration, improved outage management, and enhanced operational efficiency. The solution is also expected to strengthen grid reliability, improve power quality, optimize asset utilization, and support data-driven decision-making across the distribution network.

The project comes at a time when utilities across India are increasing investments in smart grid technologies and digital infrastructure to modernize aging distribution systems and improve customer service. SCADA-ADMS platforms are increasingly being adopted as a foundational technology for next-generation power distribution networks, enabling greater automation, reliability, and operational intelligence.

Commenting on the development, Sanjay Verma, Chief Executive Officer of Sharika Enterprises Limited, described the award as a significant milestone for the company and its formal entry into the SCADA-ADMS segment. He noted that the project reflects Sharika’s expanding capabilities in grid automation, digital utility solutions, and smart infrastructure, while supporting India’s broader energy transition and power sector modernization objectives.

Sharika also acknowledged the support of East India Udyog Limited and its technology partner, Spin Engenharia of Brazil, which has collaborated with the company in developing its indigenous ADMS platform under the Government of India’s Make in India initiative.

The latest project further strengthens Sharika’s presence in utility automation, smart grids, communication networks, substation modernization, renewable energy integration, and advanced distribution technologies. The company said it remains focused on supporting the development of intelligent, resilient, and future-ready energy infrastructure across India.
