The HJT G12 PLUS portfolio includes three module formats:

  • 128-cell: 475โ€“495W, 23.8โ€“24.8% efficiency, optimized for residential and vertical installations.
  • 144-cell: 535โ€“555W, 23.7โ€“24.6% efficiency, suited for commercial, industrial, and vertical applications.
  • 198-cell: 740โ€“770W, 23.8โ€“24.8% efficiency, designed for commercial and utility-scale projects.

The multi-format portfolio enables customers to optimize solar module selection according to different project requirements and installation conditions.

Performance improvements are driven by a combination of G12 PLUS large-format wafers, 1/3-cut architecture, 0BB (zero busbar) HJT technology, negative-gap stringing (an advanced cell interconnection technique)and high-density encapsulation. Together, these innovations reduce optical shading and electrical losses while increasing active area utilization.

The modules deliver more than 30W higher output and over 1% higher efficiency than conventional half-cut products. Active area utilization reaches 94.59%, with full-screen designs expected to increase the figure to 95.61%, providing an additional 5โ€“10W power gain.

At the cell level, advanced technologies including photonic sintering and optimized passivation further enhance performance. Photonic sintering reduces line resistance by 50%, while 0BB technology lowers silver consumption, minimizes shading, and shortens current collection paths, supporting both higher output and improved manufacturing yield.

The 1/3-cut architecture also enhances reliability by reducing operating current and internal resistance losses. This design lowers module temperature and mitigating hotspot risk. Outdoor testing showed surface temperatures up to 12.5ยฐC lower than conventional modules. IFC flexible interconnection technology improves mechanical stability and manufacturing precision, while dual-layer encapsulation achieved zero microcracks in 288-hour HAST testing.

The modules retain the inherent advantages of HJT technology, including high bifaciality, excellent temperature coefficients, and superior low-light performance. Combined with butyl sealants and dual-coated glass, the design further enhances moisture resistance and long-term durability across residential, commercial, utility-scale, and vertical PV applications.
