The Government of India’s flagship PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, now extended until 31 March 2027, continues to accelerate the nation’s residential solar adoption agenda. Under the scheme, homeowners installing a 3 KW rooftop solar system are eligible for a Central Financial Assistance (CFA) of up to ₹78,000, significantly improving affordability and reducing the payback period.
