Powering India’s Rooftops: Saatvik’s Strategic Push into the Residential Solar Market

With the introduction of its integrated Residential Solar Kits under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, Saatvik Green Energy Limited is embarking on a new chapter of growth by extending its solid record in utility-scale solar into India’s quickly growing residential market. This strategic expansion reflects our vision of making high-quality solar solutions accessible to every Indian household while supporting the nation’s clean energy transition. Over the years, Saatvik has established itself as one of India’s most trusted renewable energy brands, with more than 4 GW of Solar PV modules successfully supplied across utility-scale, commercial, and industrial projects. This proven track record has been built on a strong foundation of quality, reliability, technological innovation, and customer confidence.

Today, our portfolio spans the complete solar value chain, comprising Solar PV Modules, Solar Inverters, EPC Solutions, and Residential Solar Kits, enabling us to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end clean energy solutions for diverse customer segments. In order to provide complete solar solutions for both residential and commercial uses, Saatvik Green Energy has deliberately diversified its clean energy portfolio. A strong portfolio of On-Grid, Off-Grid, and Hybrid Grid-Tied Inverters with capacities ranging from 1.1 kW to 50 kW, available in single-phase and three-phase configurations, complements its cutting-edge N-TOPCon Solar PV Module line, which delivers high-efficiency power outputs Solar PV Modules from 600 Wp to 640 Wp. The company’s dedication to providing dependable, scalable, and future-ready solar energy solutions that meet the changing demands of India’s dispersed energy market is strengthened by this integrated product ecosystem.

The launch of our residential portfolio is a natural progression that leverages our manufacturing expertise and extensive industry experience to empower homeowners with reliable, efficient, and affordable solar energy systems. Manufacturing excellence remains at the core of Saatvik’s growth strategy. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ambala currently has an annual Solar PV module production capacity of 4.8 GW, while our ongoing expansion through backward integration will add 6 GW of Solar Cell manufacturing capacity and an additional 4 GW of Solar PV module manufacturing capacity manufacturing N-TOPCON technology modules power ranging from 600Wp to 640Wp.

The Government of India’s flagship PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, now extended until 31 March 2027, continues to accelerate the nation’s residential solar adoption agenda. Under the scheme, homeowners installing a 3 KW rooftop solar system are eligible for a Central Financial Assistance (CFA) of up to ₹78,000, significantly improving affordability and reducing the payback period. Complementing the Central Government’s initiative, several state governments have introduced additional subsidy support and incentive mechanisms, further strengthening the value proposition for residential consumers and reinforcing India’s commitment to achieving widespread rooftop solar penetration.

Mr. Prashant Mathur C.E.O Saatvik Green Energy said India’s energy transition is entering a defining phase where every household has the opportunity to become an active contributor to the nation’s clean energy future. At Saatvik, we believe residential solar is no longer a niche segment—it is emerging as one of the strongest pillars of India’s renewable energy ecosystem. Our strategic expansion into the residential segment reflects our commitment to delivering a complete, end-to-end solar ecosystem. With Saatvik’s advanced N-TOPCon solar PV modules, intelligent on-grid, off-grid and hybrid inverter portfolio, and integrated residential solar kits, we aim to simplify the adoption of rooftop solar while ensuring superior performance, reliability, and long-term value for consumers.
