NTPC Limited has floated an open tender for the supply and installation of 780 kWp solar PV modules at the NTPC Kaniha Solar Plant. The project is expected to be completed within 180 days from the date of award.
The tender has been issued under Tender Reference Number NTPC/USSC-CPG1/9900330400 and Tender ID 2026_NTPC_110839_1. The document download and clarification process began on August 10, 2026. Interested bidders can submit clarification requests until August 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
Bid submissions will begin on August 18, 2026, at 9:20 AM, with the final deadline set for August 31, 2026, at 4:30 PM. The technical bids will be opened on September 2, 2026, at 4:30 PM at NTPC’s Western Region Headquarters II in Raipur. The submitted bids will remain valid for 120 days.
The tender requires bidders to submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹2 lakh through online payment. No EMD exemption has been permitted. Although there is no initial tender fee, bidders must provide a Performance Bank Guarantee or Bank Guarantee as required under the contract.
The tender process will involve three covers: fee details, technical and pre-qualification documents, and the financial BOQ price bid. Bidders must also comply with NTPC’s safety requirements, applicable local supplier conditions and regulations concerning entities from countries sharing a land border with India.
The tender highlights NTPC’s continued efforts to expand solar generation capacity and strengthen renewable energy infrastructure across its facilities.
