The Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL), a Government of Rajasthan undertaking, has invited bids for appointing an executing agency to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for renewable energy projects in the state. The tender has been issued under Notice No. RRECL/TN-07/2026-27, dated August 12, 2026.
The selected agency will be responsible for preparing the DPR covering civil and electrical infrastructure works for Solar PV, Wind and Hybrid Power Projects, with or without Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The projects are planned at Mathania in Jodhpur District, with a capacity of 30 MW, and Phalodi, with a capacity of 15 MW, Rajasthan.
The bidding process will follow a single-stage, two-envelope system through the Rajasthan state e-procurement platform. Interested bidders can download the tender documents from August 13, 2026, at 11:00 Hrs. The documents will be available through the Rajasthan e-procurement portal, the State Public Procurement Portal, and the official RRECL website.
Online submission of bids will remain open until August 24, 2026, at 18:00 Hrs. Bidders must also submit hard copies of the tender fee and bid security to the office of the General Manager-I (Solar), RRECL, Jaipur, by August 25, 2026, at 16:00 Hrs. The technical bids will be opened online on the same day at 18:00 Hrs.
The financial requirements include a non-refundable bid fee of Rs 5,000 plus applicable GST and a RISL e-procurement processing fee of Rs 500. Bidders are also required to furnish an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or bid security of Rs 40,000. The security can be submitted through Demand Draft, Banker’s Cheque, NEFT/RTGS or Bank Guarantee.
RRECL has clarified that the Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) amount will be governed by the detailed terms and conditions specified in the full RFP document. Payments related to the tender can be made to RRECL’s designated Punjab National Bank account.
The tender is part of Rajasthan’s continuing efforts to develop renewable energy infrastructure across the state. By combining solar, wind, hybrid generation and potential BESS integration, the planned projects can support the development of more flexible and reliable clean power capacity.
RRECL has reserved the right to accept or reject any bid and to cancel the tender process at any stage without assigning any reason.
