The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has issued a corrigendum to correct typographical errors in its earlier order on tariff adoption for 2,000 MW of inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar photovoltaic projects paired with 1,000 MW/4,000 MWh Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
The corrigendum, dated August 13, 2026, relates to Petition No. 975/AT/2025 filed by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI). The original order was issued on March 24, 2026, following a competitive bidding process conducted under the applicable guidelines for solar power projects integrated with energy storage.
CERC’s regulatory bench, comprising Chairperson Jishnu Barua and Members Ramesh Babu V., Harish Dudani and Ravinder Singh Dhillon, corrected errors appearing at serial numbers 7 and 8 of the tariff allocation table. The Commission exercised its powers under Regulation 54 read with Regulation 66 of the CERC (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2023, to make the corrections.
According to the revised allocation table, Shivalaya Construction Limited received the largest capacity of 600 MW at a tariff of Rs 2.86 per kWh. Purvah Green Power Private Limited was allocated 300 MW at Rs 2.86 per kWh, while SAEL Industries Limited received 300 MW at Rs 2.87 per kWh.
Welspun Renewable Energy Private Limited secured 200 MW at Rs 2.86 per kWh, while MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Limited received 150 MW at the same tariff. Navayuga Green Energy Private Limited was allocated 120 MW at Rs 2.87 per kWh.
Banyan Insolation Private Limited secured 100 MW, while Stockwell Solar Services Private Limited received 80 MW, both at Rs 2.86 per kWh. Oswal Cables Limited and LC Infra Projects Private Limited were each allocated 50 MW at Rs 2.86 per kWh. GH2 Solar Limited received 50 MW at Rs 2.87 per kWh.
The combined allocation totals 2,000 MW. CERC clarified that all other terms and conditions of the March 2026 order will remain unchanged. The corrigendum therefore updates the official record without altering the substantive tariff adoption or other provisions of the original decision.
