Malaysia Clean Energy Week 2026 Unites Industry Leaders to Accelerate the Nation’s Clean Energy Future

The fourth edition united Malaysia’s clean energy community for a high-impact day of insights, partnerships, innovation and recognition  

The fourth edition of Malaysia Clean Energy Week 2026 concluded successfully at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, bringing together policymakers, utilities, developers, investors, technology providers, corporate energy users, financial institutions and sustainability leaders.

Formerly known as The Solar Week Malaysia, the event returned with a new identity and broader vision, expanding beyond solar to represent the complete clean energy ecosystem. The programme featured expert presentations, strategic panel discussions, a leadership roundtable, technology showcases, networking and an awards ceremony.

The conference opened with a company briefing by Andrew James Ferreira, Associate Director, FirstView Media Ventures, followed by Opening Remarks from YB Datuk Dr. Hj Hazland bin Abang Hj Hipni, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Energy & Environmental Sustainability Sarawak.

Keynote addresses by Y.M Tunku Akmaludin, Deputy President, Malaysian Photovoltaic and Sustainable Energy Industry Association, and Ar. Sarly Adre Sarkum, CEO, Green Building Index, together with an expert talk by Dr. Norasikin Ahmad Ludin, Professor, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and Director, Solar Energy Research Institute, established a strong foundation for the day’s discussions.
