SECI Seeks 20 Acres For Two 5 MW Agri-PV Pilot Projects In Delhi-NCR

The proposed projects will be located within a few kilometres of Issapur and Dhansa villages in Najafgarh, Delhi. SECI is seeking a minimum of 10 acres for each project. Landowners and land aggregators with government or private land can participate in the tender.

The bidding will follow a single-stage, double-envelope process, with bids evaluated primarily on the annual lease rate offered per acre in accordance with applicable government land policies.

The selected land must have a clear title and be free from legal disputes, mortgages, acquisition notices and other encumbrances. It will need to be leased for at least 27 years, with an extension possible through mutual consent.

The land should be suitable for dual-use Agri-PV systems, enabling electricity generation alongside seasonal crop cultivation. SECI has specified that the site should be level or gently sloping, non-waterlogged and accessible by an approach road. It should also be located near Discom transmission infrastructure of 11 kV or higher voltage.
