The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) has invited online e-tenders from reputed and experienced vendors to establish a dedicated laboratory at its head office in Pune. The proposed laboratory will focus on Green Hydrogen, Renewable Energy, and Energy Storage systems and is intended to support skill development and professional training programs.
The estimated project cost is Rs. 90 lakh, excluding applicable taxes. Bidders are required to pay a non-refundable tender document fee of Rs. 11,800, including 18% GST, along with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 1 lakh. Both payments must be made online through the Maharashtra Government’s e-tendering portal. Bidders must also submit the EMD payment receipt to MEDA.
The tender document became available for download on September 10, 2026, and will remain accessible until September 28, 2026. A pre-bid meeting was scheduled for September 16 at 11:00 AM to address queries from prospective bidders.
Interested vendors must submit their bids online by September 28, 2026, before 3:00 PM. The technical bids are scheduled to be opened on October 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The submitted tenders will remain valid for 90 days from the final submission deadline.
The laboratory will be established at MEDA’s head office opposite Spicer College on Aundh Road, Pune. MEDA has reserved the right to accept or reject any or all bids at any stage without assigning a reason.
