Resolven has secured 70 MW of wind power capacity under the 600 MW wind power tender issued by SJVN Limited at a tariff of ₹3.65 per kWh. The project will be developed as an Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind power project in Karnataka and is scheduled for commissioning in December 2027.
The latest award marks Resolven’s second consecutive win in the wind energy segment, reflecting the company’s continued efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio. The company stated that the addition represents a calibrated approach towards strengthening its wind power business while maintaining a focus on competitive tariffs and consistent growth.
Previously, Resolven secured 180 MW of wind power capacity under a tender issued by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at a tariff of ₹3.68 per kWh. The project is also an ISTS-connected wind power development and is located in Andhra Pradesh. With the latest SJVN award, the company has further strengthened its position in India’s competitive wind energy market.
Following these two consecutive wind project wins, Resolven’s total under-construction project pipeline has reached approximately 2.2 GW. The company currently has more than 600 MWp of operational renewable energy capacity.
The 70 MW Karnataka project adds to the company’s growing development portfolio as India continues to expand its renewable energy capacity through competitive bidding and large-scale wind power procurement.
Resolven aims to pursue disciplined capacity additions while focusing on project execution and portfolio expansion. The latest award highlights its continued participation in India’s renewable energy transition and its strategy of building a diversified portfolio through successive wind power project wins.
