Grupo Princz-IPASA and Genneia Forge 15-Year Clean Energy Partnership in Argentina

Grupo Princz-IPASA, a national leader in PVC and bioplasticizer manufacturing, has entered into a strategic agreement with Genneia, the foremost renewable energy producer in Argentina, to supply 60% of its energy needs with clean energy. This alliance, formalized under the private Renewable Energy Term Market (MATER) system, entails a 15-year green energy provision contract commencing on May 1, 2024. Genneia will supply renewable energy from its wind and solar farms.

With 75 years of industry experience, Grupo Princz-IPASA is committed to a sustainable business model that benefits the environment and local communities. This initiative is part of the company’s broader sustainability strategy in Argentina, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2040.

“It is a privilege that, through the agreement with Genneia, we can materialize a key aspect of our ESG strategy by obtaining clean energy for our production plants in the province of Buenos Aires.
