GUNVL 700 MW Dholera Solar Park Tender Receives Lowest Bid of INR 2.78/kWh; Tata, ReNew and TEQ Green Among Winners

The Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has recently issued results of 700 MW of solar PV projects at the Dholera Solar Park.

Auction winners for the following tender are Vena Energy Renewables, Tata Power, ReNew Power, SJVN Limited, and TEQ Green Power.

Vena Energy Renewables, Tata Power, and SJVN won 100 MW of capacity individually whereas ReNew Power won 200 MW. TEQ Placed bids for 500 MW but under the bucket-filling method it  was awarded 200 MW capacity.

Vena Energy Renewables and Tata Power quoted a tariff of ₹2.78 /kWh, ReNew Solar quoted for ₹2.79/kWh, SJVN quoted for ₹2.80 /kWh, and TEQ quoted for ₹2.81/kWh.

Earlier we have reported that Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) tender for development of 700 MW of solar PV projects at the Dholera Solar Park has been oversubscribed by 600 MW. Total bid of 1,300 MW was submitted by seven bidders, according to an official.

GUVNL released this tender in January.To participate along with the bids bidders submitted earnest money deposits of Rs. 400,000/MW and at the time of signing the power purchase agreement. Bidders will also have to pay a performance bank guarantee of Rs. 944,000.
