With an aim to powering India 24/7 with enhanced utilization of renewable energy, The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has recently launched a Round the Clock Power scheme. This is believed to be helpful in addressing grid integration issues at the source and provide stakeholders the ability to utilize the long-term benefits emanating from RE. To make it a ground reality, The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has recently issued its first tender with a capacity of 400MGW for round-the-clock renewable energy supply. This has opened a major new avenue in India’s rapidly evolving renewable energy sector. The Round The Clock Tendering discussion forum is a part of our business master’s series which will bring together energy professionals to learn, network, collaborate, and share expertise and information digitally.
