The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced Extension of Timelines for Implementation of 97.5 kWp Grid Connected Roof Top Solar PV System Scheme for Government Buildings in different Zones of India under CAPEX and RESCO Model.
Based on the approval accorded by the Competent Authority, the lockdown due to COVID-19 has been treated as Force Majeure and it has been decided to grant suitable time extension, the notice stated.
The revised timelines for the Successful Bidder to complete the roofs identification and survey, submission of Project Sanction Documents, Design, Engineering, Manufacture, Supply, Storage, Civil Work, Erection, Testing & Commissioning is 14-.03- 2021 in case of Zone-1, Zone-2, Zone-3 and by 14-06- 2021 in case of Zone-4.
In case of Zone-1, Zone-2, Zone-3 successful bidders may also complete all the work with a per day penalty and without consideration of incentive by 14-09- 2021 and by 14-12-2021 in case of Zone-4, which can be further extended depending upon the merit of the case.
On 13th May, The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) announced the list of successful bidders selected for its 97.5 MW rooftop solar tender. There were 52 winners in total.
