Over 50,000 Homes Across India Adopted Rooftop Solar Power with Loom Solar

Loom Solar, an emerging SolarTech start-up under Govt. of India’s Start Up India initiative and the leader in mono panel category, today announced its 50,000 solar powered rooftops milestone across India. This comes during the company’s fourth year of operations and at the time when climate change and green energy are at the centre of discussion across the globe.

Loom Solar has been working closely towards reducing carbon emissions and this deployment has the potential to reduce 3.32 lakh tonnes of carbon footprint thereby contribution towards mitigating climate change equivalent to 5.6 lakh trees

Citing the 50,000 residential solar rooftops milestone, Amod Anand, CoFounder & Director, Loom Solar, said, “We are humbled and thank our 50,000 customers who have chosen to adopt solar power to give it back to nature. This gives us an opportunity to develop more energy efficient systems thereby increasing the overall capacity of power per square meter for the solar panels.
