Over 50,000 Homes Across India Adopted Rooftop Solar Power with Loom Solar

Loom Solar, an emerging SolarTech start-up under Govt. of India’s Start Up India initiative and the leader in mono panel category, today announced its 50,000 solar powered rooftops milestone across India. This comes during the company’s fourth year of operations and at the time when climate change and green energy are at the centre of discussion across the globe.


Loom Solar has been working closely towards reducing carbon emissions and this deployment has the potential to reduce 3.32 lakh tonnes of carbon footprint thereby contribution towards mitigating climate change equivalent to 5.6 lakh trees

Citing the 50,000 residential solar rooftops milestone, Amod Anand, CoFounder & Director, Loom Solar, said, “We are humbled and thank our 50,000 customers who have chosen to adopt solar power to give it back to nature. This gives us an opportunity to develop more energy efficient systems thereby increasing the overall capacity of power per square meter for the solar panels. We shall keep introducing innovative and technologically advanced products for our customers.”

Amod further added, “As we proceed in our quest to engage more home owners to adopt solar solutions at their homes, we are aiming at increasing our stronger footprint in the homes rooftop solar installations. To help more customers to adopt solar, our team has been supporting them with EMI & Loan availing facility as it needs constant handholding by an expert. Further, it will need synergies across our product, distribution, initiatives supported by our team of employees and partners to create yet another milestone for Loom Solar.”

Loom Solar has been focussing on powering homes with rooftop solar solutions thereby reducing carbon footprint at the household level. This shall further the agenda of mitigating carbon footprint and confirm the cause of conserving nature with technological advancements, deeper customer insights and focussed research & development to maintain the balance for a greener environment.

Loom Solar is a bootstrapped start-up based at Faridabad, Haryana that started its operation in 2018 with a modest seed capital of Rs 50,000 is now a Rs. 100 crore enterprise backed by innovation and India first products like mono panels, IoT based AC modules and bifacial solar panels (generating power from both front & back of the panels).
