NTPC Requests Bid For O&M Of 260 MW Solar Plant In Rajasthan

NTPC Limited has issued a request for proposals for the three-year comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) of its 260 MW solar project at the Bhadla Solar Park in Rajasthan.

The deadline for proposal submissions is January 19, 2022. On January 21, bids will be unfurled.

The tender’s key elements include the cost of the bidding document, which is Rs 10,620, the availability of all MSME advantages, and the bid validity period of 180 days. Additionally, tender fees, a bid security declaration, and an integrity agreement must be encompassed in all bidding requests.

The bidder must have conducted a contract to establish and commission at least one grid-connected solar project with a capacity of 150 MW or greater during the former seven years as of the bid onset date.

Or else, the respondent must have completed an O&M contract for at least one grid-connected solar power plant of 150 MW or greater capacity for at least one year prior to the bid opening date.

During the previous three fiscal years, the bidder’s average yearly turnover should not have been less than Rs 930 Lacs. The bidder’s net worth (whether including net-worth of subsidies or holding company or not) on the final day of the prior fiscal year must be greater than 100% of the bidder’s entire paid-up share capital.

If the bidder fulfils the net worth criterion based on the strength of its subsidiaries or holding company, their net worth, however, shall not be less than 75% of their respective paid-up share capital.

The tender is only open to Class-I local suppliers. A bidder must have a minimum of 50% local content to be classified as a ‘Class-I local supplier.’

Any bidder from a nation having a land border with India may participate in the tender only if registered with the accredited authority.

Previously this year, NTPC requested bids for the O&M of a 10 MW and 15 MW solar power facility in Unchahar, Uttar Pradesh and Jayant, Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, respectively.
