The Assam Power Distribution Company (APDCL) is looking to procure 70 MW of solar power from projects to be developed in Dhubri, Assam.
The power purchase agreement (PPA) will be valid for 25 years, and the projects must be commissioned within 18 months from the date of execution of the PPA.
Developers must also provide five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance services. The ceiling tariff has been set at ₹4/kWh, and bids must be submitted by March 10, 2023. On March 14 the bids will be opened.
Bidders must meet several eligibility criteria, including having commissioned or supervised the commissioning of solar power projects of a cumulative installed capacity of 20 MW anywhere in the world during the last five years, having a minimum net worth of ₹56.44 crores and a minimum net annual turnover of ₹84.66 crores.
Selected bidders must also provide a performance bank guarantee of ₹14.11 crores.
The project can be commissioned in increments of 5 MW, and APDCL may purchase power generated by partially commissioned projects at 75% of the agreed-upon tariff. If there is any delay in project commissioning, the developer may have to pay penalties.
