The government of Gujarat has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ocior Energy India Pvt Ltd to produce green hydrogen and green ammonia.
The project will require an investment of Rs 40,000 crore and will be set up in Kutch district, reports PTI.
The facility will produce 1 million tonnes of green hydrogen and ammonia per annum, becoming operational by 2030 in two phases.
The project is expected to generate around 10,400 direct and indirect job opportunities.
