JVVNL Tenders 4.24 MW Solar Project under PM-KUSUM for Feeder Solarization

Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JVVNL) has released a tender for the development of a 4.24 MW grid-connected solar power project as part of Component ‘C’ under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan (PM-KUSUM) program. The project will follow the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model and will be located near the 33/11 kV Datwas Substation in the A-II Newali Sub-division of Tonk Circle.

The selected developer will be responsible for providing a remote monitoring system and undertaking the operation and maintenance of the project for a period of 25 years. Bidders must submit their proposals by July 17, 2023, with bid opening scheduled for July 19.

The estimated cost of the project is โ‚น3.5 crore per MW. Interested bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of โ‚น100,000 per MW of the quoted capacity. Additionally, successful bidders will need to provide a performance bank guarantee of โ‚น500,000 per MW.

A power purchase agreement for 25 years, at the tariff approved by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission, must be executed between the chosen bidder and Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam within seven days of submitting the performance bank guarantee.

The commissioned projects are expected to be operational within nine months from the date of signing the power purchase agreement.
