Jayram Industries India (JIIPL), a Hyderabad-based company, has secured a contract from Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) to operate and maintain a 65 MW solar power project in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu, for a duration of 19 months. The project is owned by NLC India, and the tender for its operation and maintenance was issued by BHEL in May 2023.
A total of nine companies submitted technical bids for the tender, and among them, four qualified for the financial bidding stage. Eventually, Jayram Industries emerged as the successful bidder and was awarded the contract to oversee the operation and maintenance of the 65 MW solar power project.
This contract highlights JIIPL’s expertise and capabilities in the renewable energy sector, specifically in solar power projects. By securing this contract, JIIPL aims to contribute to the efficient operation and maintenance of the Neyveli solar project, supporting the overall growth and development of renewable energy in Tamil Nadu.
