KPI Green Energy, SAEL Industries, and NLC India have emerged as winners in the auction conducted by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) to develop 800 MW of grid-connected solar power projects at the Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat. The auction, known as Phase XX, also includes a greenshoe option for an additional 800 MW.
KPI Energy secured 100 MW by quoting a tariff of ₹2.70/kWh, while SAEL Industries and NLC India won 400 MW and 300 MW, respectively, by quoting a tariff of ₹2.71/kWh each.

The tender for Phase XX was launched in May of this year. GUVNL will sign a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the successful bidders for a duration of 25 years, starting from the scheduled commercial operation date of the project.
The projects are required to deliver energy at the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO) periphery, with the successful bidders responsible for securing grid connectivity with GETCO or the central transmission utility.
