WEF Acknowledges Tata Power’s Subsidiary TPRMG as Catalyst for People-Positive Clean Energy Adoption in Rural India

Tata Power’s subsidiary, TP Renewable Microgrid, has been featured in the World Economic Forum’s report on accelerating the clean power transition. Recognized for its people-positive approach, the initiative, showcased at COP28, emphasizes community engagement and aligns with the goal of sustainable, community-focused energy solutions, benefitting rural India’s socio-economic development through clean electricity access.

The case study highlights Tata Power’s commitment to cross-sectoral collaboration and the creation of shared value, highlighting the success of its renewable microgrid initiative in 200 villages, impacting 300,000 lives and contributing to India’s transition to reliable and clean power.
