An Invitation for Bids (IFB) has been issued for the supply of solar PV modules specifically designated for the 1200 MW Khavda Solar Project in the North Block.
This procurement process is conducted through International Competitive Bidding, inviting potential suppliers to participate and submit their bids for the specified solar PV modules required for the Khavda Solar Project.
The responsibilities encompassed within the mentioned package involve various tasks such as the manufacturing, supply, packing, forwarding, and transportation of Open Category Crystalline Solar PV Modules.
These activities are to be carried out in accordance with the specified wattage and dimensions outlined in the detailed technical specifications.
The deadline for the submission of Stage-I Bids is scheduled for March 5, 2024. Following this, the opening of Stage-I Bids will take place on the same day.
As for the Invitation for Submission of Stage-II Bids, the details for this stage will be notified at a later time. Similarly, the last date and time for the receipt of Stage-II Bids will also be communicated at a later date.
The cost for acquiring bidding documents is INR 22,500.
The bid capacity and corresponding minimum financial figures for the blocks are as follows:
โข One Block: 378.75 MWp requires a minimum financial figure of INR 129 crores.
โข Two Blocks: 757.5 MWp necessitates a minimum financial figure of INR 258 crores.
โข Three Blocks: 1136.25 MWp requires a minimum financial figure of INR 387 crores.
โข Four Blocks: 1515 MWp mandates a minimum financial figure of INR 5160 crores.
The bidder must have a track record of supplying Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) Modules or Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) cells with a cumulative capacity of 40 MWp or more.
Notably, at least one of these supply orders should be for a capacity of 10 MWp or above. This requirement should be fulfilled prior to the date of the Techno-commercial Bid opening.
