SECI Invites Bids for 300 MW Solar PV Project in Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh

The Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a project that involves the design, engineering, provision of all necessary materials (excluding PV modules which will be provided by the owner), unloading of these PV modules at the site, and the construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 300 MW (AC) ground-mounted solar PV power plant in Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh. This project falls under the CPSU Scheme Phase II, Tranche III, and explicitly states that the supply of modules is the responsibility of the project owner.

The selected bidder will not only be responsible for the initial setup and commissioning of the solar power plant but also for its comprehensive operation and maintenance for a duration of five years post-commissioning. This includes ensuring the availability of all necessary spare parts and consumables, and undertaking any repairs or replacements of faulty equipment as required.

Key financial and procedural details include an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) requirement of INR 4,50,00,000 and a Contract Performance Security amounting to 5% of the total contract value. Interested parties are invited to a pre-bid meeting scheduled for 1100 hours (IST) on 13th March 2024, which provides an opportunity for clarification and discussion prior to bid submission.

The deadline for both offline and online bid submissions is set for 27th March 2024, up to 1400 hours, with the bid opening to follow on the same day from 1600 hours onwards. The date for the opening of financial bids will be announced later, only to those who have passed the technical and commercial evaluation stages.
