The project involves installing battery storage capacity and solar PV modules on Engen retail service stations, aiming to make selected sites fully off-grid and reduce dependence on mainstream electricity. The pilot phase, featuring an 184kWh storage capacity and around 100kWp (AC) solar PV capacity, is successfully operational.

Kofi Owusu-Bempah, CEO & Managing Partner of PASH, and Brent Nartey, Managing Director of Engen Ghana Ltd., expressed their commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions and creating green community hubs.

The first phase covers five service stations, with plans for expansion across Engen’s network of over 50 stations, contributing to lower energy costs and a greener business footprint.
