The assigned tasks also include power evacuation arrangements and a five-year operation and maintenance commitment. These projects will be located in Babhulgaon and Saykheda villages within the Washim district. Dry cleaning methods are mandated for the solar projects.

Bids must be submitted by April 24, 2024, with the bid opening scheduled for April 26.

Each project, totalling 40 MW, consists of one in Babhulgaon covering 40.98 hectares, connected to the 132/33 kV Washim substation, and another in Saykheda covering 43.17 hectares.

Bidders must provide separate earnest money deposits (EMDs) based on the project capacity, at a rate of โ‚น100,000 per MW.

Experience as engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors or developers in executing solar photovoltaic grid-connected power projects is required for bidders.

The combined installed capacity of these projects should be at least 15 MW, with one project having a capacity of at least 10 MW, operational for a minimum of six months before bid opening.

For the quoted capacity, the bidders’ net wealth as of the final day of the previous fiscal year cannot be less than โ‚น25 lakh /MW.

A letter or undertaking from the bidder’s parent company guaranteeing unconditional and irreversible financial backing for contract execution is necessary if the bidder does not meet the net worth requirements. For the quoted capacity, the holding company’s net worth shall not be less than โ‚น25 lakh/MW.

Separate documentation for qualification for each project is necessary if bidding for both, confirming experience with a cumulative capacity of 30 MW, including at least two plants with 10 MW each.

Bidders must demonstrate a minimum average annual turnover of โ‚น5 crore for a 20 MW project, based on cumulative turnover over the past three consecutive financial years. This turnover should arise from EPC contractor or developer activities in India or solar power generation projects worldwide.
