Vikram Solar Limited, a leading Indian solar module manufacturer, has introduced its latest innovation, the SURYAVA high-performance bifacial module featuring cutting-edge Heterojunction Technology (HJT). The new product, named after the Sanskrit word for ‘sun,’ embodies the essence of solar energy by symbolizing warmth, radiance, and life-giving power.
The launch took place at the companyโs Advisory Board Meeting, attended by Chairman of the Advisory Board Dr. Alok Srivastava (Retd. IAS), Independent Director Mr. K. Subramanya, and distinguished Advisory Board members including Dr. S.P. Gon Chaudhuri, Mr. J.P. Dua, Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, and Mr. Suresh Menon.
The SURYAVA module aims to redefine solar efficiency with its innovative bifacial design and Heterojunction Technology. Unlike traditional solar cells, HJT combines crystalline and amorphous silicon layers to enhance energy generation. The SURYAVA 20 Busbar module achieves efficiency levels exceeding 23% with G12 cells, providing superior performance and durability compared to conventional modules.
Mr. Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director of Vikram Solar Limited, commented on the launch, โWe are excited to unveil SURYAVA, our latest product incorporating Heterojunction Technology. This module reflects our commitment to innovation and advancing the renewable energy sector. Developed in our NABL-accredited R&D lab, SURYAVA offers lower degradation, enhanced weather resistance, and superior efficiency. We believe SURYAVA will be a game-changer in the industry, contributing significantly to both Indiaโs and the global solar energy goals.โ
The SURYAVA module promises an array of benefits, including an extended lifespan, superior power output, enhanced safety, exceptional low-light performance, zero negative power tolerance, and bifaciality for optimized yield and long-term performance.
