Grew Energy, an Indian solar company, is gearing up for a major showcase at RE+ 2024, North America’s biggest clean energy trade show, happening from September 10-12, 2024, at the Anaheim Convention Center & Campus. They’ll be featuring their latest solar technology, including their high-efficiency p-type (mono PERC) and n-type (TOPCon) modules.
In just two years, Grew Energy has made impressive strides with its three-stage backward integration process. Their mono PERC modules achieve up to 21.29% efficiency, while their TOPCon modules go beyond 22.45%. These modules are designed to meet the needs of both residential and commercial customers.
Vinay Thadani, the company’s Director & CEO, is excited about their North American debut, saying, “We’re thrilled to introduce our technology to the North American market. There’s a huge opportunity to drive sustainability with our innovative solar solutions and contribute to a greener future.”
Grew Energy has already set up a cutting-edge 1.2 GW factory in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and is building an additional 1.6 GW facility at the same location, set to be operational by 2025. They’re also investing INR 4,500 crore ($538.85 million) in a new solar module manufacturing unit in Jammu & Kashmir. Once complete, this facility will produce 3.2 GW of high-efficiency modules and 2.8 GW of ingots, wafers, and cells each year, highlighting their ambitious plans for growth and sustainability in the solar sector.
