H2 MEET 2024, South Korea’s largest hydrogen industry exhibition, is set to open its doors tomorrow at KINTEX in Goyang City. Running from September 25 to September 27, the event will bring together key players from across the hydrogen industry, featuring a wide array of exhibitions and conferences focusing on the latest technologies, policies, and industry trends.
Today, September 24, marks the final day for early bird ticket sales and pre-registration for conferences such as the Leaders Summit, Country Day, and Tech Talk. Visitors can take advantage of a discounted ticket price of 5,000 KRW for early bird registration on the official website, h2meet.com. On-site registration fees will apply starting tomorrow, with special discounts available for students, military personnel, seniors, and other groups. High school students and younger can enter the exhibition free of charge.
The event, hosted by the H2 MEET Organizing Committee, chaired by Nam-hoon Kang of the Korea Automobile & Mobility Association, will feature specialized exhibitions covering the entire hydrogen value chain. This includes hydrogen production (e.g., water electrolysis, carbon capture, renewable energy), storage and transportation (e.g., hydrogen tanks, pipelines, liquefaction, and marine/terrestrial transportation), and utilization (e.g., mobility, fuel cells, steel, and chemical industries).
Conferences Spotlight Hydrogen Industry Growth
H2 MEET 2024 will host a series of high-level conferences under the theme “Activating the Hydrogen Economy Through Cutting-Edge Technologies”. The Leaders Summit, scheduled for September 26 and 27, will feature prominent industry experts sharing visions for the future of hydrogen and discussing global market trends, sustainability, and policy strategies.
On Country Day, taking place on September 25 and 26, government officials from hydrogen-leading nations, including the USA, Canada, Australia, and Norway, will introduce national policies and explore potential international collaborations within the hydrogen sector.
Throughout the event, Tech Talk sessions will run daily, providing in-depth discussions on hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and utilization technologies. These sessions will offer valuable insights into the latest innovations shaping the global hydrogen industry.
Joint Exhibitions to Highlight Hydrogen and Related Sectors
This year, H2 MEET will be held alongside H2WORLD, Korea’s first hydrogen-specific exhibition, to further position the event as a global leader in the hydrogen sector. The event will showcase South Korea’s potential as a growing hydrogen economy and highlight opportunities for industry stakeholders to experience first-hand the growth of the country’s hydrogen ecosystem.
In addition, the K-BATTERY SHOW 2024 and the Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Fluid Exhibition Korea (HARFKO 2024) will also take place at KINTEX Hall 1, providing further networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities in related sectors.
