CIL’s 100 MW Solar PV Plant in Gujarat: Tender Issued for Balance Work and O&M

In a significant development, Coal India Limited (CIL) has issued a tender for the completion of the balance work on a 100 MW (AC) solar photovoltaic (PV) grid-connected power plant located at Bhadramali and Jabadia villages, Banaskantha district, Gujarat. The scope of the tender also includes post-commissioning operations and maintenance (O&M) for five years.

Key Tender Details:

  • Estimated Project Cost (Including GST): ₹410.16 crore (Rupees Four Hundred Ten Crore Sixteen Lakh only).
  • Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): ₹50 lakh (Rupees Fifty Lakh only).
  • Contract Duration: 2125 days.
    • Phase 1: Completion of balance work within 300 days (approx. 10 months) from the issuance of the Letter of Award (LOA) to the commercial operation date (COD).
    • Phase 2: Post-commissioning O&M for a period of 1825 days (5 years) from COD.

Notably, drawings and designs submitted by the previous EPC contractor will be part of this tender, though bidders have the flexibility to review or modify them to ensure the successful completion of the remaining work.
