OPGC Ltd. Invites Tenders for Installation of Solar Lighting System at Ash Pond

OPGC Ltd. has issued an invitation for tenders for the “Installation of Solar Lighting System at Ash Pond.” The work is expected to be completed according to the specifications and timelines outlined in the tender documents.

Key Requirements for Bidders:

• Bidders must have the appropriate class of license, PF Code, GST Registration, IT PAN, and ESI Certificate.
• Bidders must possess the necessary financial capacity and expertise for the execution of the required work.
• The tender process will be managed by the designated Accepting Authority, as mentioned in the tender documents.

Tender Submission Guidelines:

• Tender documents, including plans, specifications, schedules, and contract conditions, will be available for download (soft copy only) from the official OPGC website.
• Bidders are advised to inspect the site and surrounding area to understand the nature of the work, ground conditions, and other relevant factors that may impact their tender.
• The submission must include the following documents: Income Tax PAN, PF Registration number, GST Registration Certificate, and ESI Certificate.

Bid Submission Instructions:

• Bidders are required to submit their quotes in both figures and words. The total amount should also be written in both formats.
• Any tender submitted with a percentage deviation from the schedule of rates will be rejected.
• Bidders should ensure no other bidder witnesses their tender submission to avoid disqualification.

Financial Details:

• An Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 38,000/- is required to accompany the tender, which should be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft or Pay Order in favor of OPGC Ltd. or as a Bank Guarantee.
• The Earnest Money must remain valid for a minimum of three months from the date of the price bid opening.
• The successful bidder’s Earnest Money will be treated as part of the initial security deposit.

Tender Opening Details:

• Tender submissions will be accepted until 3:00 PM on November 18, 2024.
• Opening of the tender will take place at 3:30 PM on the same day, in the presence of authorized representatives of bidders who wish to attend.

Important Notes:

• Bidders must submit their proposals in compliance with all tender conditions. Non-compliant bids will be rejected.
• The Earnest Money for unsuccessful bidders will be refunded within 30 days of contract award.
• No interest will be paid on the Earnest Money or any other security deposits.
